Themal overload protection Prevents thermal run-away when metal oxide varistors (MOVs) become damaged, or when a continuous overvoltage condition exists.
Manual disconnect switch Enables the surge supressor to be de-energized for service without disconnecting the protected load.
Surge counter Records the number of power surges the unit is exposed to which can be used as an indicator that the unit is providing protection as intended. A high number of surges can be an indicator of poor facility power quality and the need for additional corrective actions
NEMA 3R/12 enclosure Meets the requirements of a NEMA 3R enclosure for outdoor applications, and a NEMA 12 enclosure for indoor applications.
Alarm contacts Enables remote monitoring of TVSS alarm status.
Replaceable individual phase modules Significantly reduces the time to repair a damaged surge protector, minimizing the time that critical loads are unprotected from transients.
