To meet the needs for migration from 25 to 100Gb/s, Panduit offers QSFP28 to Four SFP28 Active Optical Cable Assemblies. These active cables provide a cost-effective solution for interconnecting high speed 100 Gb/s switches and servers to existing 25 Gb/s equipment. The Active Optical Cable Assemblies are constructed with a 3.0mm 8-fiber round unitary cable broken out into four 3.0mm 2-fiber round cables, available in PVC rated jacket material. These cords are available in OM4 multimode fiber type with high performance insertion loss essential for today’s high-speed systems requiring very low connector insertion loss.
