Product DescriptionThe HDMI HDBaseT Lite over Cat5 Extender is a perfect solution for extending audio/video signals from a Blu-ray™ player to a projector. This kit is certified by the HDBaseT Alliance and offers a complete solution for extending HDMI audio/video signals over a single Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 unshielded twisted pair cable up to 190ft at a 4k resolution. This solution is compatible with any operating system and is truly plug and play with no drivers or software required. HDBaseT Lite technology allows the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) signals, i.e. communication of the display’s capabilities, to pass through the extension solution ensuring that the content from the source is sent at the optimal resolution for the display. Support of IR control allows a device to be controlled at length. This allows a HDMI source device, such as a Blu-ray player, to be controlled over the extension solution. Built-in power surge protection and high ground loop immunity ensure high performance signal extension.
